Continues the story from Hellraiser, following Kirstie as she investigates a haunting image she has of her father in Hell begging for help. Her search leads her to an asylum run by a doctor who reopens the portal to Hell, unleashing Kirstie's wicked step-mother Julia, as well as the High Priest of Hell himself, Pinhead, and his minions the Cenobites. Excellent gore, decent story, and good acting from all involved, but Doug Bradley is the standout as Pinhead. The movie's energy climbs in every scene he's in.
