An exciting and notorious Japanese gangster saga of five films that is often compared to The Godfather. Filmed with a cinematic shaky camera look, a complex story of an endless cycle post-war Yakuza crime, and dozens of characters and dozens of cold blooded killings. The audio commentaries on the films are very good as well. Highly recommended to fans of Japanese crime dramas of the 1970's. This is a fine box set at a superb price.
